TECHNICAL DETAILS

 

Following immunological techniques will be discussed along with wetlab experimentation:-

  • In vitro evaluation of immunomodulatory activity of Marine Natural Products with reference to phagocytosis.
  • Isolation of lymphocytes using Ficoll hypaque
  • Specific separation of T-cells using Nylon wool
  • Evaluating the effect of Marine Natural Products on lymphocyte proliferation using MTT assay
  • Immunogenic purification of lymphocytes
  • ELISA technique to measure cytokines secreted by activated lymphocytes
  • Western blotting technique to estimate proteins
  • Demonstration and discussion on Flowcytometer
  1. Immunophenotyping

  3. Cell cycle
  4. DNA ploidy
  • Discussion on hybridmoma technology
